The ESG and DE&I Study Centre at Pegaso University is a pioneering initiative for a digital university in Italy. The centre plans, develops, and implements research, training, and projects focused on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues, emphasising the strategic importance of these topics in contributing to the environment and the community.

The centre aims to be a reference point for scholars, professionals and organisations interested in understanding and adopting sustainable practices. The centre explores the challenges and opportunities related to environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable governance through an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach.

The centre’s activities include conducting high-level academic research and promoting events and seminars. Currently, the Study Centre is involved in 10 PRIN projects focused on ESG themes and a Horizon Europe Project on forest fire prevention. It also brings together 47 PhD students working on ESG and DE&I research projects.
